To become a member of Derby Triathlon Club, you will need to register with SportMember via this link – SportMember Adult
And for juniors (or parents of), via this link – SportMember Junior
Please click on register, this will open another page. This registers yourself with SportMember, you will then need to search for a Derby Triathlon Club and join one of the teams, for each new member. Parents/Guardians can create multiple memberships for their children.
If you’re registering for a junior membership, please register a parent/guardian account with SportMember first, there is no need to create a DTC member account for yourself.
Either link, above, will take you directly to the SportMember website, register for yourself and then, add yourself or your child to the Derby Triathlon Club Adult or Junior team, there’s a search facility to help with this.
If you wish to join the club purely for open water swimming, please register to join the “Adult Guest” team. There is also a “Junior Guest” team if that feels appropriate. The guest teams have no annual membership fee, but sessions have a higher fee for these teams.
When you’ve done that, the Membership Secretary will get a notification. They will then need to approve the application and make some adjustments to the payment due (for a Junior or Student members, as the system defaults to the adult fee). You will be sent a request for payment the next day. The fee request fee will arrive from SportMember, on behalf of DTC. Once the fee is paid you will be able to sign up for sessions.
