Pool Swimming Sessions
We train every week throughout the year on Tuesdays, 20:00 at Repton School Pool and on Thursdays, 19:00 at Etwall Leisure centre.  These are structured coached sessions which focus on the necessary training elements for the time of year. We also have an uncoached session on Mondays at 19.30 at Lonsdale Pool in Mickleover.

These swim sessions are very popular and although we do not wish to discourage anyone from taking up triathlon we do not have sufficient coaches to teach people how to swim. We therefore ask that anyone who attends a pool swim session is able to complete 100m (4 lengths) of front crawl without stopping.

We would also like all members to follow this guidance on training etiquette for pool swim sessions. These rules are aimed at making sessions easier to coach and enabling us all to get more from the limited time we have attending coached swim sessions. We hope that all members do the best they can to abide by these rules to enable our training sessions to be as beneficial to everyone as possible.

Please email coaching@derbytriathlonclub.co.uk prior to the 1st session you hope to attend. We will confirm that there is space for you and help answer any questions. Your first session at DTC is free and you are entitled to two more sessions at member rates before you will be considered a non member.
