Set in the idyllic grounds of Foremarke Hall, the home to Repton Prep School, the race is a unique Double Duathlon in the format run-bike-run-bike-run. This is the 3rd year of this unorthodox race and it goes from strength to strength. The runs of approximately 2km (first run is slightly longer) will take place in the grounds of the school and will take place along a mixed terrain of paths, grass and tracks. The bike section will be a 12km undulating course on the roads around the school.

Whether you are an aspiring Olympian or looking for something new to challenge you the Derby Double Duathlon is the race for you. Not only do you have to master the art of running and cycling but your ability to perform the four transitions smoothly and swiftly will determine your overall performance – it has been known for some individuals to run in their bike helmets to save those vital seconds.

Entries are limited to 100 places so enter early to avoid disappointment.

This is a fun and friendly race and is open to individuals and relay teams so whatever your reason for racing we hope to see you there.
